Timothy Alexander Guzman, Silent Crow News – Bloomberg news just reported that the pentagon seeks a total of $395.9 million for Israel’s missile defense systems.  The Pentagon and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) want to protect Israel against any potential missile attacks during war.  Last October, the U.S. and Israel had a joint air and missile defense exercise called the “Austere Challenge 12.” It was an exercise that involved both the U.S. military and Israel Defense Forces.  “The Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency for the first time in its regular annual budget contains funds to buy additional Iron Dome missile defense systems for Israel, according to documents and an agency spokesman.”  The US and Israel are preparing for Middle East conflict that would involve Palestine, Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.  Israel has even built an advanced underground hospital in Rambam Medical Center in Haifa that can hold up to 2,000 patients.  The purpose of the hospital is to avoid an incoming missile attack.  The US has already spent $210 million for an Iron Dome in Israel located near Beersheba.  “The budget requests $220 million for missile batteries in fiscal 2014, which begins Oct. 1, and an additional $175.9 million in fiscal 2015, according to budget documents the Missile Defense Agency posted online last week” the report said.  With the United States economy in steady decline with more than 100 million Americans unemployed, a record number of bankruptcies and foreclosures and endless bail-outs of the banks, the Military-Industrial Complex continues to squeeze the average taxpayers for endless wars.
